“Three of us took a wildlife trip with Oscar in October 2017. It was one of the most wonderful experiences we had for a variety of reasons. We are not birders but love photographing fauna, flora, landscapes, and people. Oscar’s knowledge about wildlife (especially birds) was immense and his abilities made our photography trip a great success. Not only could he identify birds that were relatively slowly moving or perched or standing, he could identify them by sound and when quickly flying by. In addition, he has recordings of numerous birds, which was of significant help to us when he saw or heard them and we didn’t. The recordings attracting the birds and his guidance allowed us to see and photograph them. We had “amazing” (according to friends) photos of nearly 300 species of birds and another 40+ species of mammals, amphibians, and insects and 50+ of flowers/plants. We can’t wait to return to have him guide us through the Pantanal!”
