So fortunate, Oscar, to have come across your website, https://www.paraguay-birding-nature.com/ , when searching for “Birds of

Paraguay”. The beautiful photos of the various birds, the many offerings of the different trips with different locations that show

cased the major interesting ecosystems of Paraguay, along with the ability to tailor the trip to include cultural sites, … and the

many positive testimonies of previous adventurers caught my fancy and imagination. I just knew I had to do it. So many

interesting ecosystems and flora and fauna to see. So glad you suggested to do a longer trip. It was every bit worth the extra

time and expense. It was a fantastic couple of weeks and the trip did not disappoint.

I learned a ton of natural history from a phenomenal naturalist and birder. Your ability to identify the biodiversity and to predict

exact locations and time that we would possibly see our target organism was uncanny. Three-hundred and fifty birds in a short

time and in the winter was beyond my expectations. Highlights were seeing all the woodpeckers that Paraguay has to offer! I

cannot wait to share photos and stories with my students in my Conservation of Neotropical Ecosystems course. Thanks for

sharing your passion, expertise and love of Paraguay with us. I was smitten by the whole adventure and exploratory
